2 Days - Still Hopefully only as Shore Excursions

Two days in St. Peterburg are still too short, however in 2 intense days it is possible to see and visit all the Must-See Attractions of St. Petersburg, provided one is lucky with the weekdays (different museums have different days off).

Here are the two most Suggested Itineraries:

2Days - 9.5/10+8h (suitable for all cruise ships; on the 2nd day at 5pm back on board):

Day1: Catherine Palace and Park with Amber Room, Fountain Gardens of Peterhof, splendid Underground stations and St. Isaac's Cathedral - by car
Day2: City highlights tour by car (or by car till lunch, then walking tour with an integral boat ride) with inside visits to Peter and Paul's Fortress, the Hermitage (2h) and Saviour on the Spilled Blood Church - by car (for blanket visa cruise ship passengers) OR by car till lunch and then by boat, public transport and walking (for hotel guests)

2Days - 9+9h (only for cruise ships departing at 7pm and later on the 2nd day (6pm on board), eg. AIDA):

Day1: Catherine Palace and Park with Amber Room, Fountain Gardens of Peterhof and splendid Underground stations- by car
Day2: City highlights tour by car (or by car till lunch, then walking tour with an integral boat ride) with inside visits to Peter and Paul's Fortress, the Hermitage (2h), St. Isaac's Cathedral and Saviour on the Spilled Blood Church - by car (for blanket visa cruise ship passengers) OR by car till lunch and then by boat, public transport and walking (for hotel guests)

An evening programme can be added to any of the 2-day itineraries for the 1st night with a romantic evening boat ride, ballet or opera evening or a folklore show.
